My last post – A big thank you!

At the start of this year, I set out to try and write a post a week. I guess one would call it a New Year’s resolution, probably my first ever. I wanted to challenge myself to see if I had any ability to create something relatively interesting.  The main reason was to ‘practice’, so to speak, so I could get to a point where I would then focus on writing and sharing my own stories.

Writing has been fun, rather cathartic to be honest. Most of the time, I have thoroughly enjoyed the moment of creativity. That spark. People have often asked when I find time to write. Its like this. When the spark appears. The writing flows. It is, simply, a brilliant feeling.

LinkedIn has been a great platform to post off. It has been perfect for me. I also learnt to publish posts via my own WordPress site, , for those not on LinkedIn. If you have the bug, I recommend it.

All in all it has been a great experience for me to leverage off, and enter the realm of ‘real’ writing. So before I sign off, I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank everyone that has followed, commented and given me support over the year with regards to my posts. Hearing you read them, reading your comments and, in some cases, there are people that actually enjoyed them. Well, it really really makes a difference. Thank you!

So heading into week 48 of 2015, 41 posts later (I nearly did it?!), I feel I am ready. I have a story to share. Now all I need to do is sit down and tell it. It will be about a final journey across Europe, five days, five countries, five cities, and five languages, oh and all with my Father, well his ashes.

Thanks for reading,
